Attention all Club Members!

Our first BOWLING EVENT is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Island City Lanes in beautiful Minocqua. This activity is going to be something special and open to bowlers and non-bowlers of all ages.

You’ll be able to register as an individual or as a team of 4-5 and skill level won’t really matter. What will matter is if you don’t show up to help make this event a success. So, mark your calendars now and keep your eyes on our website for more details.

4 Reasons You Should Bowl & Invite Family and Friends!

(1) This is a great way to connect with other people. One of the best ways to meet new people and form friendships is during the various events we have! Sometimes it’s kind of hard to meet new people at our events, indoor space can sometimes be tight, it might be extremely cold or not enough snow on the ground to get you there.  That won’t be the problem at Island City Lanes – they have lots of indoor space and a big parking lot. Not to mention, snow is not a requirement.  So, come and meet new people… even if you aren’t a super bowler (trust me, you won’t be alone on that).

(2) It’s mud season, right? What else do you have to do on a Sunday afternoon in early May. Okay – it is opening weekend of fishing season, but our hope is you’ll get an early start on the fishing and then join us for an afternoon break before going back out. Or, if you’re partner is out fishing, bring your friends, kids, grandkids even, and come spend a few hours here – I bet it will be a little warmer indoors too.

(3) Bowling alley food. I mean… need we have any other reasons than this alone? The food at Island City Lanes is so good!

(4) This is a great way to support a local business, which helps us keep fun things like this local! Sadly, lots of small towns are losing bowling alleys and other fun businesses. We’re super excited to be able to “keep it local” and have a lot of fun while making sure that we do our part to keep our small town full of great businesses like Island City Lanes!

Don’t worry if you don’t bowl! People will just be hanging out too.
