On Saturday, March 21st, I finally got a chance to meet the winner of the snowmobile raffle. Sheryl Ill and her husband Jeff drove up from Naperville Illinois to claim their prize. The winning ticket was one of ten tickets, distributed to her by our club, to either sell or purchase. Sheryl said she is very excited to finally have her own sled! The Ski-Doo MXZ TNT 850 E-Tec snowmobile was provided by Lakeland Powersports.

The 2nd place winning ticket was sold by Don & Judy Krush at the St. Germain flea market to Tim Wetzel of Hampshire Illinois. He’s now the proud owner of a two place Triton Trailer, donated by Tony and Rochelle Priesgen.

The two 3rd place prizes, both $1,000 gift certificates (one from R & R Motorsports and the other from Ryden Marine/Minocqua Yamaha) were won by Joe Serreno of Birnamwood Wisconsin and Bob Guzzetta of Rockford Illinois. Joe purchased his ticket while attending Beef-A-Rama and Bob bought his ticket from Gary & Jan Homuth at the St. Germain flea market.

The 4th place prize, a Modine Hot Dawg garage heater, donated by Jay Saunders of HVAC Plus, was won by Mark McDonald of Tomahawk Wisconsin. He purchased his ticket while visiting the Idle Hour Resort, one of our Map Ad sponsors.

On behalf of the Minocqua Forest Riders SC, I would like to congratulate all of this year’s raffle winners! To everyone who either purchased tickets, sold tickets on behalf of the club or volunteered to sell tickets at special events, Thank You! . A big shout out goes to the Rustic Pines Pub for hosting the raffle drawing and to our other Map Ad Sponsors who are willing to sell tickets at their place of business. Finally, thank you Steve Shanks, Susie Ramirez and all the other members of the Raffle Committee for making this such a successful fundraiser for our club.
