This past Saturday, October 10, some of our club members got together to clean-up our designated 1.3 mile stretch of highway 70W (both sides) between Mercer Lake and Kilawee Roads.

A big thank you goes out to everyone who came out early on their Saturday morning to help!  There were 14 of us and we filled 15 garbage bags in about an hour!

Surprisingly, but nice to see, was that there wasn’t more trash collected, since we didn’t get a chance to do a cleanup in the springtime.  As a comparison, in the spring of 2019 we collected 22 bags, and in the fall another 15 bags!

Thank you again for helping to keep a portion of the Northwoods clean!
