Fall Roadside Cleanup 10-09-2021

A big “thank you” goes out to the team of 12 who came out Saturday, October 9, 2021 to help clean-up the 1.3 mile Adopt-A-Highway stretch of road that runs along both sides of highway 70W from Mercer Lake Road to Kilawee Road.

We had beautiful fall weather and we collected eight bags of garbage this time compared to the 23 bags in the spring!

We get many cars passing by that honk, yell thank you and give us a thumbs up – it’s nice knowing people appreciate the effort!  This is a great way to have a bit of fun for an hour or so, while doing something good for the community, getting some fresh air and also a bit of exercise!
