Spring Roadside Cleanup 05-15-2021

A big “thank you” goes out to the team of 14 who came out Saturday, May 15, 2021 to help clean-up the 1.3 mile Adopt-A-Highway stretch of road!  Despite the early rain, the group collected 23 bags of garbage along both sides of Highway 70W from Mercer Lake Road to Kilawee Road.  Last fall, we collected 15 bags, so more litter bugs around the last 7 months to keep us busy!  The highway sure looked better by the time we got done, so thanks to everyone that helped to keep the Northwoods looking good!

The Fall Roadside Cleanup is currently planned for Saturday, October 9, 2021.
