Cruise For Cancer Snowmobile Parking Information and Directions

To get to Oakfire restaurant for registration:

Park sleds in an area near the Minocqua post office, called Bearskin Trail head park, parking lot B or C behind the old train depot OR park on Lake Minocqua in front of the restaurant.

Enter the restaurant using the stairs and go around to the front of the building.

Once registered, take your sled to the Lake and line up with one of the leaders on the lake directly behind the restaurant.

The ride leaders will be wearing highway vests for visibility.

There will be a picture taken before the ride leaves.

The snowmobile route for the cruise for cancer event:

Go east on Lake Minocqua to the 51N trail, take 17/47 south to 17S then take 47S (powerline trail) and reconnect with 17S into Lake Tomahawk.

Follow 17S to 12W, take that trail to the 51N (Bearskin Trail).

We have planned a 15 minute stop at Hazelhurst Pub for a bathroom break or a quick refreshment break if you choose.

Proceed on the Bearskin trail north to Minocqua and back to Oakfire.

The ride is approximately 45 miles, and should take 2 hours with a stop.

The only fuel stop is in Lake Tomahawk at the BP station.
