The map committee has been working feverishly throughout the summer securing advertisers for the upcoming snowmobile season trail map. As of today, we have 74 confirmed sponsors and will see revenue of approximately $14,000 (it costs the club around $4,500 to produce maps). There have been seven businesses that have closed or have chosen to not advertise this upcoming season. We’ve also picked up three new business sponsors; Hilltop Cottages & Rathskeller is back open under new management, Willows End Bar & Grill is a new advertiser and so is Area 31.

Trail 10A on lower Kaubashine will have a reroute this season and we’re clearing a trail near Area 31 that will only be open when our club hosts winter events there.

Maps are slated to be completed by early November and dissemination will begin in December. We could use some assistance with distributing map boxes as well as keeping them full of maps throughout the snowmobile season.
