Yesterday all 4 of our grooming machines were out, and the average time each VOLUNTEER was out was over 10 hours, with some volunteers out for over 12 hours. We also had volunteers going out on sleds and clearing branches so the grooming machines could get through. These conditions will not be resolved in one day; it will likely take many days to complete.

By Wednesday night (12/31) almost all of our trails will be gone over and cleared enough to get a machine through. We know that most other clubs in the area are dealing with the same conditions.

Despite these challenges, we are grateful to have snow earlier this year – last year trails did not open until February 7.
