Trail Report – 02-24-2023

February 24, 2023

Curt Christensen, President

Well, Mother Nature sure has smiled on us this week!  Our Groomer operators are gearing up and Grooming is starting this evening!

Trails:
Our groomer operators are reporting that the trails are in Good Condition, however the new snow is very fluffy and will blow off in corners.  Be careful there may be ice underneath in some areas.  Ride RIGHT – Ride SAFE!

Trail Issues:
·        Any Trails that are Road Routes are very icy and can be slippery, ride with caution.

•    There’s logging activity on Trail 5 between TIN-513 and TIN-515. Sections of the trail may have limited amounts of snow on them. Ride with caution.

•   Trail 5A is PERMANENTLY closed between TIN-651 (the intersection of Trail 5 & Trail 5A) and TIN-653 (the intersection of Trail 5A & Price County Road). Follow the detour.

Weekend Forecast:
Friday:       A high temperature of 16 degrees and a low temperature of 8 degrees.
Saturday:   A high temperature of 25 degrees and a low temperature of 9 degrees.
Sunday:      A high temperature of 32 degrees and a low temperature of 19 degrees.

Extended Forecast: Daytime temperatures will be in the 30’s Monday through next Sunday, with nighttime low temperatures below freezing. There’s also a chance we’ll get an inch or two of snow Monday.
