Trail Report 01242020

The swamp is finally froze! Trail BB between Corridor 10 and the entrance to Lake Shishebogama has been groomed several times in preparation for the weekend traffic.

Forest Rider Trails:
All trails are in Very Good to Excellent condition.

Willow Region Trails (reported by Jim Bosben, President):
All trails are in Excellent Condition. It was also reported that both Pier and Willow lakes have been marked and Trail 8B has been groomed for the first time this past week.

Trail Closings:
•         Trail 5 from Willow Road (TIN-525) to the Spillway (TIN-524)
•         Trail A

Trail Grooming:
Corridor 10, Trail 9, Trail 5 and Trail BB is groomed 5 times a week; Corridor 12 is groomed 4 times a week; All other club trails are groomed at least twice a week. To maintain quality trails, our grooming machines will be out during daytime hours.

Due to the warmer temperatures predicted for Saturday and Sunday, the trails will begin to deteriorate sooner and develop moguls at a faster rate.

Weather Outlook (as reported by weather.com):
The average daytime temperature the next seven days will be right around 30 degrees. The low temperatures during this time period will be in the upper teens to mid twenty degrees. Expect light and variable winds.
